Located on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Redang is in the marine protected area known as the Terengganu Marine Park.

Take a flight to Kuala Terengganu. From the airport, catch a taxi/van to Merang Jetty and then a boat transfer to Redang.

Between April to late-September is the best time to go to Redang. Most hotel resorts are shut from November to March when monsoon strikes the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
